Role Overview: Senior Credit Analyst

We are in search of an experienced Senior Credit Analyst to join our team in Nigeria. This role is designed for a dedicated professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality credit analysis and research. As a Senior Credit Analyst, you will have the opportunity to work closely with senior management, issuers, and investors, providing crucial insights and maintaining the integrity of our ratings.

Key Responsibilities

1. Comprehensive Credit Analysis

  • Research and Reporting: Conduct detailed research on credit trends affecting the insurance, corporate, and banking sectors. Produce thought-provoking reports that lead the discussion in these areas.
  • Expertise Development: Become a key authority on your designated portfolio, offering deep insights into sector developments and maintaining a robust understanding of the industry.

2. Ensuring Ratings Accuracy

  • Fundamental Analysis: Perform thorough credit evaluations for Nigerian financial institutions, insurance firms, and corporates. Present your findings in committee meetings, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
