Job Opening: Foreign Exchange Dealer

Are you an experienced trading professional with a passion for foreign exchange markets? RMB is on the lookout for a Foreign Exchange Dealer to join our Lagos team. In this role, you’ll engage in dynamic trading activities, manage substantial trading positions, and deliver exceptional service to corporate and institutional clients. Your expertise will be crucial in navigating market fluctuations and optimizing trading outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute Trades: Conduct foreign exchange transactions for RMB, including Spot, Forwards, and Swaps, while capitalizing on customer flows and market trends.
  • Client Service: Provide a high-caliber trading service to market segment sales teams, ensuring client requirements are met with competitive pricing and professionalism.
  • Market Representation: Enhance RMB’s reputation by demonstrating outstanding professionalism and fostering strong relationships with clients, regulators, and other key stakeholders.
  • Risk Management: Monitor and manage trading risks, adhering to established guidelines such as trading limits, hedging strategies, and mark-to-market protocols.

  • Experience: 10-12 years of hands-on trading experience, with a deep understanding of Nigeria’s foreign exchange markets. Experience in fixed income markets and structuring is advantageous.
